Pssst … want a kitten?
Somebody abandoned a kitten near my house and I took it in for safekeeping. I don’t want to keep it forever, though. If you’re in Shanghai or the vicinity and you’d like it, please send me a comment.
The cat is about two months old and has no problem using a litterbox.

Okay, so far. She’s started sharpening her claws on stuff occasionally, so I’m going to have to be sneaky and snip them a little with a nail clipper while she’s sleeping. I did that with another cat, and it kept him from getting in the habit of scratching stuff.

What you should do is get her some cardboard scratch boxes and cover them with some catnip. Once they get used to using a scratch box or poll they tend to prefer it to your stuff.
Cats nails grow petty quick and be carefull not to cut to close and get her toe.

Have you found a home for her?? I’m in London, but I LOVE calicos and I will fly there if you can’t find a home for her!
