Da Bai and his sister Xiao Bai were adopted yesterday. I hope they have a happy life at their new home.

Oh! She’s getting better. She’s still skinny, but eating enthusiastically. A neighbor told Dog Man that her problems were pretty common, and were related to being worn out by the puppies. I don’t know if this is true, but they were constantly chasing her, trying to nurse. Recently she’d actually taken to coming to my apartment to get away from them because they were too little to climb stairs.

Oh, that’s great! (Maybe it was mastitis, and she’s getting better). Yay, Alice!
