I was on TV?
Today while I was trying to deal with more computer problems, griping to the caretaker guy about how all the computers in the building seemed to be broken, all of a sudden he told me he’d seen me on television.¬† The thing was, I had no idea when why or how, and he couldn’t explain it either.¬† All he could say that there were several other foreigners on the program too.¬† I think he said it was on Shanghai TV.¬† I can only make certain guesses:
1. It was a rerun of RETURN IS LIKE A RAINBOW, a military soap opera where I played a reporter in one scene.
2. A show I’ve never seen called BOYS AND GIRLS, where I played a foreign visitor to a high school.
Well, those are the mostly likely two I can think of.¬† Then there are the tsunami telethon, the Shenzhen city government meeting, at least one Women’s Day shindig … and what else…?¬† But why would these ever be on TV now?¬† Or maybe it wasn’t me at all, just some other random Caucasian woman with dark hair.
